Your First Dance Home Base

Study this step and make sure you can dance it without thinking before moving on; you’ll use this step throughout your whole first dance.

Really, we should call it the “base step” because the whole dance it built around this side-to-side movement.

Don’t worry if this feels a little square and rigid at first. We’ll be rotating the Basic Step in the next video.

We’ll also add a bunch of other components to your first dance so that your wedding guests remain entertained throughout the dance (yes, your first dance is part of the entertainment at your wedding!).
